Game won't load black screen

All of a sudden I am receiving the following notice: "Failed to load assets. Remove the application and reinstall it from Google Play." If I do this, I am afraid I will not only lose my current status but the 7,000 gems I have accumulated and the 19,000 Black Pearls as well. I am afraid I would be required to start at the beginning again. This is unacceptable.

I can open the website rovio.com on Mac and iPad, but games like Angry Birds 2 cannot access the Rovio server from my iPad although the Wi-Fi connection works. Try to reproduce the error by installing and opening the app on an iPad 2 Mini or similar devices while Wi-Fi is activated. I’m using an ad blocker (VPN) for internet and apps, but I get the error too without VPN.
