My last received email was timestamped at 7:06 AM EST today. Both of my email clients have not been able to connect with Mail2World since then. My ISP says Mail2World is not telling them anything about the outage. Mail2World is getting about as bad as TuCows was. Nothing on Mail2World's status page either. My ISP says the entire site is down. Gave Mail2World to Downdetector to monitor.

Since most of emails were not accesable a few months back, I had to add another Outlook so I could go on with my business but I also kept mail2world because I liked it. I still access my email but I lost all I had saved for several years. Where is it gone? It's been a few months I cannot use save to... Could you help me retreive what I've lost? It must be somewher in your files. Thank you .
Where do we begin? App does come up, clearing cache removes all the "lang_45" style stuff. Incoming mail is erratic with sometimes seeing a pop up to say it's come but no way of getting to it. I literally cannot send anything outgoing even when pressing on send from Compose puts a SENT pop up as both the email doesn't show in the Sent items folder and the mail doesn't arrive at the account you sent it to. This, Mail2World, is a long away from a functional email account and of necessity I'll have to set up another email account as I just cannot use this which I've had since 2006.
It is NOT completely fix yet!!! I do not remember the tabs of by heart....was the first one delete or second....In any case I will not press any tabs till they getit back to normal! I hope they have great "I T " ,,,,Like it was not bad enough that thousands around the world did not have email for almost a week! If ANYONE out there knows how to fix this annoying issue PLEASE SHARE Thanxs from Montreal Canada!!!
January 16--US account @ 12:25 AM eastern time [For those who are not in the US, that is same time zone as New York]. Logged in without any issues and the account page displayed properly. Clicked on the folder containing old emails. They displayed properly. Clicked on some emails from the past few weeks from the inbox list. They displayed properly. Email from yesterday displayed properly. Appears to be corrected for my account.
This evening in the UK, the site is back up. But when logging in, the account is not showing the normal pages just some code-like messages. So not able to access Inbox or any other folders. According to reports, no user data was compromised during the ransomware attack. Hopefully, the service will be back to normal soon.
US account @ 3:00 PM eastern time. Was able to get the log in page to display. Blue circles were spinning around for a while before my account opened. The display was not normal. Mostly blank page. Clicked on a folder containing old saved emails. It displayed the list of most recent emails, including some I had not read. Tried to read a few of the emails and they did not display. Clicked on the same folder again [saved old emails] and now the list of those old emails appeared. Tried to read them but they did not display after clicking on them. Logged out after that.

Our internet provider's UPDATE: Mail2World, third party email provider, continues to experience an outage that affects email customers. The outage has been attributed to a ransomware attack, but as we understand it, no customer data has been compromised. Please know we are working diligently with Mail2World on restoring service as quickly as possible. While an ETA has not yet been provided, teams are currently testing the platform to ensure it can be brought back online securely. Further status updates will be posted as we receive more information.
I don't know how you define disruption as opposed to down. I was last able to receive my email on 2022jan11 at about 21:00 eastern time. I waited a couple days and then reported it, but it's still not working. Typically I get my mail at alum.rpi.edu but it comes from mail2world. Thre surprising thing is that during these 3 days, mail2world has been reachable sometimes but I can't get my email there directly. When do you expect service to be restored?

I have tried different computers, different browsers, and my cell phone which is on yet another network. I cannot reach mail2world.com even though you are saying it is up. My University of Illinois Alumni email is on it. A friend told me she sent me an email on this and it was returned as unreachable. I do not think it is just me.

The outage looks to be a ransomware issue with buckeye.net (M2W uses Buckeye as ISP, I beleive). From what I can make out, this isn't M2W at fault - the whole damn setup has gone quarantine while restoration work is going on. To be honest, if you want to blame anyone, blame the ransomware attackers who get their kicks out of screwing up people's lives with their nefarious activities. W*nkers. Been with M2W for nearly 18 years and have a LOT of mail history in there. Hope it's back together soon.

Site is up on network level (responding to pings and being able to connect via DNS system) but that does not mean the servers are back in operation; so far, no connection has been accepted so there is probably still restoration activities ongoing.
For several days now in the UK unable to access the mail2world.com site. mail2world.com didn’t send any data is the message coming up. As previous comments have reported, it does seem to be due to a ransomware attack. Why https://issitedownrightnow.com is displaying mail2world.com as up is a puzzle as it is still down.

Mail2World Email Outage: This is due to a ransomware attack on the email Provider. Mail2World is offline because they are dealing with an attack on their servers. That timetable was rescinded, and we are back to not knowing when Mail2World can bring back their email service. PS: I know that Mail2World is not mentioned in that article. Scary. Down 2 days and counting. Forget incoming emails, what about all my saved emails and contacts from the past 20 years? I will be downloading a Migrate Mail2World to Gmail Account tool online if my accounts come back up, and never use M2W again. Don't trust anymore!
Has been down since january 11th. Mx domains do not resolve, neither does mail2world.com. It sucks balls not being able to read my email for two days and no, I don't want to use NSAmail.com and even if I did, I have a zillion accounts bound to my home.se address which is hosted by mail2world.
Server is down so I can't get my email. Also all email being sent to me is being bounced in such a way that it will not automatically retried for a few days. As a result I will probably be removed from many email lists that I really want to hear from. Also Mail2World is not posting any useful information on their twitter or facebook websites to keep users posted on what is going on. All of the above is inexcusable for a company that advertises itself as "failsafe."
Down for a few days here in Staffordshire, UK, very poor communication of even the fact the server is down never mind an update on any attempt to fix it. As this is a primary email for many activities for me, some of which do verification involving email it's extremely frustrating.
Cannot open or recieve emails since January 11th, 2022. Trying to log on results in a "server down" message! sent message to M2W through other email and FB messenger.....no response This is my primary email and no communication from the company!!!
Here in Australia it has been down for more than 20 hours. How can anyone have any confidence with this service moving forward? Also, how about some update to let your users know exactly what is going on and expected time it will go live again. It really wouldn't take too much more effort than your generic message saying that you are diligently working on the current email service outage!
