I have not received any emails for 24-26 hours. Nothing happens when I try to log on through webmail. I have tried multiple times with three different devices. When I call customer service or tech support I get the same recorded message telling me you are busy and I should call back at a later time, then it disconnects the call so I don't even have the option of staying on hold. This is causing considerable issues and it is even more frustrating when you make it virtually impossible to get help.
Our server appears to be working. Office manager has received some emails today. However, two other emails associated with the account are not receiving. Please advise on [email protected]. The website for www.prairieservicegroup.com is working. Thank you. Chris Kluck, owner
The startup page is now back up. But everything else (including our mail servers) is still down. At least this gives me an inkling that they are working on this. Their customer service, or lack thereof, given the absolute silence as to what's been going on, is unacceptable.
I am losing money and potential clients over this! Not just e-mail server, but also their web site, home page, billing page. All gone!! No explanation. It's Friday after 4:00 PM CST, the message on their phone line says they are closed for the weekend!!?? They better be working on getting things restored however long it takes tonight!!!! This is crushing my ability to work!!!
Core.com has been down all day; cannot access any of its functions (account options, email, etc.) Their email address of webmail.core.com will not send/receive email. Their voicemail says "call during business hours of 9am to 5 pm Monday through Friday." Phone number is 877-267-3266. It's now 4:30 pm CDT on a Friday. This workday is just out of step with today's world.
Been down all day, as least anytime I've tried to check my email. I appreciate that this site/forum is available to let me know it's not just me, but it would be great if there was a short paragraph at the top of the page with a quick statement on such a large outage and if there was any estimate on when our service would be restored. Thx
Why the comments say 4/12, and it appears confusing to those of us in the U.S.A., is because overseas, dates are written with the DAY first, and the MONTH second. In other words, their 4/12/20 is U.S. 12/4/20, or, today. Meanwhile, I am becoming IRATE at the fact that ANY communication, as to the nature and expected duration of the problem, has been non-existent and impossible. My business is suffering as a result, and I am livid. Unforseen problems occur, and I do understand this. But the company has an obligation to inform us of just what the hell is going on!!
At least they finally put a message on their voicemail telling us that the server is down for 'maintenance'. Earlier, there was just a "sorry all customer service reps are busy" CLICK. Why is it that no other web service I have worked with has these extended problem? Come on Corecomm.
The headquarters of Corecomm Communications is located in East Lansing Michigan. Here is their BBS listing: https://www.bbb.org/us/mi/east-lansing/profile/internet-marketing-services/corecomm-communications-0694-4015686 The phone number 877-267-3266 has a pre-recorded message saying: Thank you for calling localnet. The system is down due to maintenance...etc...
Voyager.net is down. So then you do what you always do with everyone else. Call Customer Service ... but find it is "currently busy" and then the line just hangs up on you. Technical support is the same. Their website is down, too. How is this even possible nowadays? I have legitimate concern that they've just been shut down by the FCC overnight.
Am I the only one who’s email is not accessible. I knew it was coming because every time I pay a bi annual invoice it goes out. Also I notice a huge amount of spam before it goes out as well. Trying to move things over to a new account with a different company but it’s taking some time since I have had this account for years. Guess I will never know if someone was trying to contact me. It’s not a Covid thing that’s for sure
For me, using mail client (e.g. Thunderbird) or browser (Chrome) on PC seems OK. Chrome on Android is "cyclical" as reported, but at least eventually letting me read Inbox. They put a "help link" on login page that may(?) help: https://webmail.core.com/webmail-security-help.php
Have not been able to access execpc.com email since last week. Same circular path as creviews and raywalsh noted below: (your site) "uses an outdated security configuration" etc. If you click on "advanced" = "Your connection is not fully secure. This site uses an outdated" etc. Very frustrating that Corecomm no longer offers 24/7 tech support via phone--only M-F Eastern time. I'm on Central Time and you don't begin answering your phone until ten minutes after I have to clock into my Monday through Friday job and you stop answering twenty minutes before I am able to clock out. I don't get a lunch break, need two weeks' notice to get a day off (if I'm lucky), am not able to make personal calls from work, and only have internet access when I have a hotspot checked out from the local library. It's due on Wednesday, and one of the tasks I wanted to accomplish with said hotspot was weeding out emails from execpc.com where I'm at 98.6% capacity. When may we expect normal service to return?
My computer won't allow me access, it says: YOUR CONNECTION ISN'T SECURE This site uses an outdated security configuration that might expose your personal information when it's sent to this site (for example, passwords, messages or credit cards) NET::ERR_SSL_OBSOLETE_VERSION When I hit advanced, I can get to messages, when I try to access the messages, I get to this screen again. I have access to other sites, including bing, google, msn news etc. but can't open up messages Please fix!
Received email ( on my new service) and was told they do not know what the problem is or how to fix it. Yep, they are definitely going out of business. The damage has already been done. Now it’s if I can get a reimbursement on recently renewed account. I imagine my dad, the lawyer will have to get involved. I hate that. This service sucks.
I am over this. Out again. Every time I am expecting something important. Can’t do it anymore. This has been a total waste of money. My free gmail account is more reliable than this. Guess gmail is my new email account. Pretty sure I will be fighting CornCobb for a refund.
Attaching response from CoreComm: -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, April 27, 2020 8:52 AM Subject: Re: ExecPC Server Issue - Email Acct [[email protected]] Dear CoreComm Internet Services Subscriber, I apologize for the mail problem over the weekend. The outage was fixed and service should have started working correctly on Sunday and be working now. The recent problems are with the mail server here. We are doing our best to fully correct the issue and prevent outages like this from continuing. -- Thank You, CoreComm Internet Services Technical Support 325 Hampton Hill Dr Williamsville, NY 14221 1-877-267-3266 [email protected]
Same as last 5 times in last three months! I can log into my account, etc., but no email. Started late morning. Three weeks ago, it only took 3 hours to get fixed since I was able to call during the week. Don't know what the problem is but the tech was surprised I was having trouble since they replaced the servers having the problem. Ugh.
Incoming email failing again (Account is temporarily unavailable) sometime after 13:00 EDT. Outgoing (via server authsmtp.core.com) is still OK. If using web access, error is "unknown user" or "dropped by IMAP". These are exact symptoms as previous 3-4 outages. Please fix ASAP.
Haha, Yep, here we go again. Last time I started transferring my email address and changing it in preparation to leaving this company. Have had this account for 25 years so it’s not easy to remember who all to change over. Asked them last time how to cancel service and how to get the account balance returned. Guess what....they don’t reimburse though our AG says they can’t do that and to file with the FCC.
Is everyone able to get their emails now? Have not seen much action on here so maybe it’s just me. Has been out all weekend. Second time now and I never got any of the back emails from last time when it was out seven days or more. Am asking for a refund and reporting to the FCC. Have to be done with this though chances are good they are going out of business.
This is how long term customers are treated. Tech support and customer service hangs up after a recorded message I don’t believe is the case. I feel they are going out of business and just buying time to make good their escape. I have contacted my Attorney Generals office and have filed a complaint. They said they can not ignore customers who have paid ahead for services. They suggested filing a complaint with the FTC as well which I am I the process of doing. Need to record everything as well as the time and funds to try and change things things over to something else. Will never trust this system again.
NO email since late morning of February 15, 2020. I can log into my account, but cannot receive nor send emails. Press 2 for tech, transfers to tech and announcement all are busy and promptly disconnects you. No idea. At least flash something on the main page for those of us who can log into our account but can get or send emails.
My email password spontaneously stopped working last Saturday, 2-15-20, and all reset attempts on my end resulted in no change. Your phone support immediately switches to a recording saying that some email accounts are down now with anticipated date of resolutions. My question is, are you now out of business, or have you given up on fixing this problem? At what point shoul users bail and set up new accounts at a different ISP? Thanks, Jay K. Nixon, [email protected] is my alternate email, phone 262-498-23655 or 262-633-3090([email protected] is the down account)
Wow Julian, 60$ a year? I was paying 143.40 a year and then in 2019 it went up to 237.00. All I have is email and tech support but as I have found out I really don’t have that as they aren’t answering my emails from a gmail account or taking phone calls. At this point I have neither email or tech support services. Been out for 6 days. Isn’t worth the 60$ a year much less 237.00.
Calling their customer service phone number during business hours gives a recorded message saying that some users are affected by an email outage and there is no ETA for the repair, but they are working as quickly as possible to restore service - after 5 days. Also no online chat support. I am paying $60/yr for this???
Considering the current email outage, I got a laugh when I read this at https://corecommhosting.com/email-hosting.php: Why Choose CoreComm? Stability: With over 24 years of experience in the industry, you can be confident in our services and support. Reliability: Our 99.99% uptime guarantee provides the peace of mind that you need. Toll-Free Technical Support: Our trained staff are here to answer all of your questions Maybe one of their 24 year old servers broke down and they can't find replacement drives from that era anymore.
Jerry, You are probably right. They recently upped the cost by 60.00 a year and doubled the cost of tech support. I guess that meant only if it’s convenient to them. Have had a secondary gmail account which is free and have never had a problem with it. Maybe it needs to be my primary account. I get a ton of spam and have wondered when I’ve had this problem before if they get hacked a lot. Don’t know but tax time is not the time to have this issue and no support.
Cannot log in to webmail, it says error / got back to login [email protected] Occasionally, repeating the log in action, i can get to INbox, but any action there goes back to Error. This happens on three different PC I run. Thank you, Gary
